Courses

The first year of the bachelor programme the curriculum consists of a set of courses common for all the students. These are mainly basic courses for the purpose of learning how to use the various workshops at the Academy. Starting from the spring term of the first year, the students can choose from the various courses given in theory, technique and creative projects. The courses are announced during the first week of every term.

At master’s level year 1 you are free to choose from the bachelor- and master courses given, but you have to take at least one masters seminar per semester.

All the courses are part of the Fine Art programmes, i.e. there are no separate courses at Malmö Art Academy.
