Hamn is the Swedish word for "harbor" and refers to Sydhavnen (Southern Harbor in Danish), but "hamn" is also a figure or state in Norse mythology in which the soul can reveal itself, through dreams or in ecstasy. In this "shift of states", the soul wanders between bodies and beings. The idea of changing form, going from one state to another, of changing hamn, can be seen both as a more abstract state or more specifically, as changing one's social and gender identity. All artists in this exhibition show work related to the concept.

Maria Norrman performs as her drag persona Millennium Star, who will lip sync to songs related to Copenhagen and Denmark. They will be dressed in a new outfit and presentation for each song. In the exhibition space there will be an eight sided folding wall which is Millennium Stars changing room, where documentation of the performance will be shown.

Maria Norrman also exhibits a poster titled Millennium Star Serving Fish on the billboard of Sydhavn Station.

The exhibition is part of an exchange between Gallery CC, Malmö and Sydhavn Station, Copenhagen. The members of Sydhavn will exhibit at Gallery CC 30 October - 22 Nov.

The exhibition is supported by Statens Kunstfond, Rådet for Visuel Kunst i Københavns Kommune and Fondet for Dansk Svensk Samarbejde. The posters and billboard supported by Statens Kunstfond and Augustinus Fonden.
