Malmö Art Academy began holding close reading seminars on Arendt's thinking in the late 1990s and has continued to do so ever since. Generations of artists have used her thinking to gain an understanding of the political significance of art. That is why we are dedicating our first publication to Hannah Arendt. The reader has been compiled by Professor Gertrud Sandqvist, who has also written an introduction.
