The first thing you do when you start at the school is taking part in a group exhibition for all new students. The exhibition is curated by our teachers and hung on the KHM gallery.
The entire first semester consists of a mandatory, basic block of 30 credits that includes the introduction and "license" to workshops and the library. The teachers present their own work during autumn in the seminar series "Open lectures" - this is very important to participate in.
The first semester ends with a Christmas party at the school and your class is responsible for it. Information on the budget and other is available by Charlotta Osterberg.
Spring also consists of a basic block of 30 credits where you will reconnect with the knowledge you have obtained the first semester. It's time to start working independently. Now you can avail yourself of the workshops and start booking us the studio conversation with our teachers and external supervisors.
If you apply and are admitted to some of the courses offered by the school, they will be included in the base block.
Spring is filled with Master shows and a Bachelor exhibition which we strongly recommend that you visit, it is not only fun but also educational.
You will also help the staff with the BFA admissions for the coming autumn. This work ends with a dinner with the faculty teachers who participated in the application jury.
Spring semester ends with the annual exhibition when the whole school is turned into a gallery and all students, including yourselves, exhibits.
