The Student Union at Malmö Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, is an independent organization governed by elected student representatives from Malmö Academy of Music, Malmö Art Academy and Malmö Theatre Academy. The Student Union is represented on different committees and boards at the schools including the Faculty Board which is the highest decision making body for the entire Faculty. The students are also represented in the appointment committee which is an overarching body for the above schools in terms of hiring and promotion of teachers.

The Student Union’s board is responsible for promoting student interests and participation in all matters concerning the Faculty of Performing Arts. The student union is a religiously and politically independent organization with a mission to represent the students and their interests.
