Her Eternal Slumber Cut Short – Rosita Kær
Her Eternal Slumber Cut Short is an exhibition about letting go, unravelling, and tearing apart. About impatient excavations, memory loss, and how the impulse to care for something inevitably bears the possibility of destroying the things cared for.
The exhibition points to how memory lives both inside and outside the body and how textiles, spaces and landscapes store memories. It ventures into a form of speculative archaeology, imagining new patterns and connections, retelling and reimagining the fragments unearthed.
