Summer course: Individual Artistic Work

15 HP | KONL03

The aim of the course is for students to develop, implement and present an independent artistic idea over an 11-week period, based on a pre-formulated project plan.

The course also aims at individual artistic development through the student's critical reflection on his/her own artistic practice and through the work process according to an independently formulated project plan.

At the start of the course, students are assigned their own studio and during weekly periods, students have the opportunity to design their project in assigned project rooms, which provides the opportunity to experiment, install and document their work in a larger space.

The course consists of an introductory meeting where the whole group meets, three individual conversations with teachers (including an intro conversation where the student presents his project plan and two studio conversations), and a final presentation session where each student presents his completed project.
