Since 1995 we have been educating students in fine arts. The education is both practical and theoretical and focuses entirely on each student's own development of their artistic practice.

Organisation and history

Malmö Art Academy is state-funded and has been offering higher education in the arts to around 80 students every year since 1995. Together with Malmö Music Academy, Malmö Theatre Academy and the Inter Arts Center, we form the Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts at Lund University. Since the beginning, our ambition has been for the academy to be interdisciplinary and international.
