Showpiece is an exhibition in motion presenting the artworks within the structural framework of a somewhat performative presentation. pro temp. is interested in exploring how it becomes increasingly more difficult to distinguish between an artist and their piece and the relationship between them. The show is therefore an experiment in exposure and what it means to be exposed as artwork and artist simultaneously.

The exhibition will have three phases: pre show, show and post show. The show utilises the use of sound, interactive pieces and the personal and physical presentation of artworks. This curatorial format is a response to frameworks of time and an equal placing of artist and the relation to their work.

For one evening, pro temp. will introduce the new to the established, exhibiting emerging artists at Galleri Nicolai Wallner. The exhibition is a temporary experiment replacing regular emptiness with moments of artistic collaborations and new vibrations.

The exhibition will run only for the evening 18:00 - 20:00 and will introduce a group of 15 artists.
