Girl with flower – Andrea Sitara Gran

Never has closing the door felt as tempting and unbearable at the same time. 
Yet again, what looks like self exposure, a way in, acts as a way out, a way of leaving. 
The separation inherent in the word: a frame with room for unfamiliar movements.

There I meet the difficult figure, befriending the stranger that was me all along.
In my hand: the inadequacy of the word, but also the word’s ability to resist language. 
The answer: Shouting during meditation.
The face twists, conflicted tears appear. They feel inappropriate, but even worse would be for them to not show up. 
Saved by the bell, interrupted by a cat meowing. 

Projections breathing and bleeding. 
Pointing to something lost, a cosmic joke; the absurdity, love, and indifference of the universe witnessed in the sorrow of the specific.
Suddenly I see the meaning there, in the meaninglessness, in the wordless, I see the rabbit in the moon. The rabbit pays no heed to time in general. It is there sometimes for long periods, in brief glimpses, or else it is gone.
