VIEWING DEVICES - Release at Lunds Konsthall At Thomas Millroth’s show Artists’ Books at Lunds Konsthall Woodpecker Projects is participating in several ways! Linnéa Eriksson, who last year released with us her book “Smetar av sig – Att läsa med Susan Howe” are reading at the opening where we are also releasing a new book entitled Viewing Devices by Patrik Aarnivaara! Viewing Devices introduces the reader to a series of sculptures by Aarnivaara that investigates the relationship between body and camera. His sculptures are influenced by various support structures for image production like tripods, rigs, and studio equipment that reflects, filters, or mirrors light and images of a place. The book is designed by VARV VARV and co-published by Woodpecker Projects and VARV VARV Also, Millroth asked two of the Woodpeckers to show book-related art works, so Jens Henricson and Ditte Ejlerskov are participating in the show alongside the entire Woodpecker catalogue and many other fantastic publications. Participating artists in the exhibition is Leontine Arvidsson, Nina Canell & Robin Watkins, Ditte Ejlerskov, Jens Henricson, Sven-Åke Johansson, Marie Raffn, Cia Rinne, Trine Struwe, Sara Wallgren, Richard Årlin. All this will happen on Friday the 30th from 18 - 20 at Lunds Konsthall.
