EQUIPMENT

Due to the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic opening hours and availability in the equipment room has been changed temporarily, until further notice.

To maintain distance and safety all visits to the equipment room must be carefully planned in advance.

As crowding needs to be avoided, time for appointment must be booked beforehand.

A timeslot for picking up and returning equipment is to be booked within the regular opening hours; Monday 9.00-10.30 and Friday 10.30-12.00. At the moment closed Wednesdays.

Make appointment for timeslot and apply for loans by mail in good time to sophie [dot] ljungblom [at] khm [dot] lu [dot] se.

Except from this the usual rules applies regarding length of loans, by default 5 days. Courses and degree exhibitions have priority and are allowed longer loans.

To borrow you must first open a loaning account. You deposit 600 SEK (once) and read and sign the current loan-agreement. The deposition will be refunded after finished studies to your bank account, provided you have no current loans or debts.

If you don't return things on time you'll be suspended from loans for as long as the delay has lasted. For delays in returning photo-, video- or sound-equipment another two weeks will be added to that suspension.

You are personally responsible for the equipment you borrow and thus liable to pay compensation in case of damage or loss. It is recommended that you have a householder´s insurance. Check carefully what is covered by your particular insurance company. Don't lend equipment that you have borrowed to someone else. When a loan is registered on you, you're personally responsible for items not getting lost or broken.
