Open seminar: Conversations about Painting
The diversity in contemporary painting is one of the reasons why painting, far from being an obsolete medium, is seen as relevant for young artists of today.
We have asked some of the most interesting contemporary painters to join us in a seminar. With their different positions and backgrounds, they contribute to our understanding of why contemporary painting is so vital. We have invited professor Vincent Geyskens, artist Allison Katz and professor Fredrik Værslev to give three key-note lectures as starting points for an, as we hope interesting discussion. Artist and tutor Nina Roos will be present in the audience. In connection to each lecture there will be time for conversations.
